1. Who We Are

DeckRoyale.gg is a fan-made Clash Royale statistics and deck building site, not affiliated with Supercell. DeckRoyale.gg is the controller of the personal data described here. Contact: [email protected].

2. What We Collect and Why

• Account: email, username and password (stored only as a hash), or your email and name from Google if you sign in with Google. To run your account and send account emails. (Contract)
• Your posts: decks, guides, comments, votes and reports. Decks, guides and comments are public under your display name. (Contract; moderation: legitimate interest)
• Guide images: pictures you upload to a guide. We strip their metadata (such as location and camera details) and resize them before storing. Each upload is checked automatically for sexual, violent and self-harm content; unclear cases are reviewed by a moderator before anyone else can see them. Approved images are public in your guide. (Contract; moderation: legitimate interest)
• Clash Royale data: public player profiles and battle logs from the official Clash Royale API, including players who do not use DeckRoyale. To show profiles you look up and to build anonymous deck and card statistics. (Legitimate interest)
• Technical data: IP address, browser and the pages you request. To deliver the site, stop abuse and fix errors. (Legitimate interest)
• Bug reports and messages: what you write, the page, and, if you add them, a screenshot or your email for a reply. To fix problems and answer you. (Legitimate interest)
• Analytics: pages viewed, clicks, scrolling, device, approximate location and recordings of page interactions, through Google Analytics and PostHog. We use this to understand usage and fix usability problems. Form inputs and private content are hidden in recordings. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, analytics requires your consent; elsewhere it is on by default until you turn it off (Legitimate interest). We do not sell your data and do not show ads at the moment. If we start, we will update this policy first.

3. Who Receives It

Our providers, only to run their part of the Service: netcup (hosting, Germany), Cloudflare (network and security, and storage of guide images), Google (sign-in and analytics), PostHog (analytics, EU region), OpenAI (automatic checking of uploaded images; it receives the image only, not your account details, and does not use it to train its models) and Discord (bug reports and contact messages). Cloudflare, Google, OpenAI and Discord may process data in the USA under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. We also disclose data when the law requires it.

4. How Long We Keep It

• Account and posts: until you delete them or your account.
• Guide images: deleted within two days of being removed from a guide, of the guide or your account being deleted, or of being rejected by moderation. An image never added to a guide is deleted the same way.
• Server logs: a few days.
• Analytics: up to 14 months.

5. Cookies

We use cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your choices, and analytics cookies as described above. Details in our Cookie Policy.

6. Your Rights

You can ask us to access, correct, delete or export your data, restrict its use, or object to it (including to the display of your Clash Royale profile and to analytics). You can withdraw analytics consent or turn analytics off at any time with the Cookie Settings link at the bottom of every page, and complain to a data protection authority. Write to [email protected], also to delete your account. We reply within one month.

7. Children

You must be at least 13 to create an account. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, if you are under 16, ask a parent before allowing analytics. If a child under 13 has an account, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Changes

We update this policy when our practices change. The date at the top shows the latest version.
